Viper University Clinics are a series of all day skill camps hosted at the Viper gym located in Baltimore that strengthen, teach, and cultivate skills that are needed in order to cheer on a competitive collegiate cheer team. It is an opportunity for ALL athletes to be trained by people who have been, and are currently under the scrutiny of college coaches, teachers, and trainers, and learn firsthand what needs to be done to stand out at a college tryout. VIP Athletics stands by the USASF’s belief that all star gyms need to emphasize scholastic achievement and educational efforts, and would like to start off our 2013-2014 season with many of the athletes from strong programs including but not limited to University of Maryland College Park, Seton Hall University, Virginia Tech, Navarro College, Stevenson University, Morgan State University, and many more leading our strong student-athletes of the future! Instruction will include learning a college fight song and cheer, one hour each of stunting, tumbling, and conditioning, and a question and answer portion with a panel of college coaches coming in from University of Delaware, Morgan State, Towson University, Seton Hall University, Virginia Tech… and more of UCA and NCA’s top ten national programs! Due to the limited availability of some of these coaches, the panel will differ from clinic to clinic, so athletes are encouraged to attend all three sessions if you would like to get the perspective of the different coaches, and have the opportunity to show them your growth as an athlete through the three weeks
These clinics are highly recommended for high school aged athletes but are open to all athletes of all skill levels and ages.
